and the said Annie R. Crichton the wife of the
Said T.P. Crichton on an examination taken and made
separately and apart from her said husband did ac-
knowledge before me that she made herself a party
to the said Conveyance for the purpose of Conveying
her separate Estate in and to the lands tenements
and hereditaments therein described and thereby grant-
ed and released and that such Conveying her separate
Estate is made by her freely and voluntarily and without
Constraint apprehension or fear of or from her said
husband.

Alachua County } Whereas I have this day purchased
of T.H. Bevill a certain Black mare about three
years old and am still due him the Sum of fifty five
dollars therefor with interest at 10 per Cent per annum
agreeably to the tenor and effect of a certain promissory
note bearing even date with these presents. Now Know all
hereby
men by these presents that I^Mortgage to the said
Bevill for the secure payment of said Sum and
interest the said black mare and pledge myself not
to part with Sell or Swap Said mare without the written
consent of said Bevill and if I Should part with the
possession of said mare then this obligation is due
and payable and he shall have full power to seize
said mare and foreclose this instrument of Mortgage
and to further secure him in the payment of said
Sum and interest I hereby Mortgage to the said
Bevill all my crops to be raised by me during
the years AD 1884 and 1885 for the Satisfaction of
