before me Ann F. Gregory and Jason Gregory to me
well known as the persons described in and who exe-
cuted the foregoing Mortgage Deed and acknowledged
that they executed the same for the purpose therein
expressed; whereupon it is prayed that the same
may be recorded

Daniel McClellan To Wm A. Colclough

Alachua County   } Know all men by these pre-
ents, That Whereas Daniel McClellan of the
above State and County is indebted to Wm A.
Colclough of the same State and County in
the Sum of Two hundred Dollars which Sum
is Covenanted to be paid by his Certain promissory
note bearing date December 29th 1883 and for the
said sum of Two hundred dollars bearing in-
terest at the rate of 8% per annum. Now therefore to
better secure the payment of said note and interest
as expressed therein I do by these presents grant
bargain sell and Convey unto the said Wm A. Col-
clough his heirs and assigns all my right title in-
terest and Claim of in and to all the Crops of whoso-
ever species kind or description now growing or
which may hereafter be planted grown or gathered
by me or for me or for my benefit on or off of any 
and all lands in Alachua County Florida. Also
the following described property to wit: One Black
horse Mule this day bought of said W.A. Colclough
to have and to hold all and singular the Crops
lands and personal property above bargained and
sold unto the said Wm A. Colclough his heirs execu-
tors administrators and assigns forever. Provided
