and better securing the payment of said note and the sum
of money mentioned therein. Therefore know all men by these
that that we Margaret L. Beckham and Alexander C. Beckham
her husband for and in consideration of the premises and of
one dollar to them in hand paid have granted bargained sold
and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and
convey unto the said James M. Sparkman his heirs and
assigns all the following described piece parcel or tract of land
Situated lying and being in the County of Alachua State of Florida
to wit: All that Lot or fractional parcel of Land lying on the
North West side of the AG and WIT RR and being a fractional
part of the North West quarter (NW1/4) of the South West quarter (SW1/4)
of Section twenty three Sec (23) Also a fractional part of the
North half (N1/2) of the North East quarter (NE1/4) of the South
East quarter (SE1/4) of Section twenty two (Sec 22) commencing at
the North East corner of said Tract and running Six (6) Rods West
thence South across the said North half (N1/2) of the said North
East Six (6) Rods to the Section line Thence North the place of
beginning all of said Lands being in Township Eight (T8)
South of Range Twenty one East (R21E) and containing
seventeen acres more or less Together with all and singular
the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the same
belonging or in any wise appertaining To Have and To Hold 
the same unto the said James M. Sparkman his heirs and
assigns forever. Provided however and these presents are upon
this express condition that if the said Margaret L. Beckham
and Alexander C. Beckham their heirs or assigns shall well
and truly pay or cause to be paid the sum of money
covenanted to be paid by said note together with the interest
to accrue thereon according to the legal tenor and effect thereof
then this obligation shall become null and void otherwise
to remain full force and virtue. And it is hereby further agreed
and Stipulated that the said Margaret L Beckham and
Alexander C. Beckham their heirs or assigns will pay all costs
expenses and attorney's fees which the said James M. Sparkman
may be put to in enforcing the collection of the aforesaid sum
covenanted to be paid by said note by foreclosure or otherwise
