H.P. Sessions To W.A. Colclough
                    "Mortgage"
State of Florida } Know all men by these Presents that Whereas I H.P. Sessions
Alachua County   } of the above State and County is indebted to Wm A.
Colclough of the same State and County in the sum of Seventy Five Dollars
which the said sum is covenanted to be paid by Two certain Promissory notes
bearing date January 5th 1884 one for $3750 Payable Dec 1st 1884 & one for 3750 payable
January 1st 1885 and for the said sums bearing interest at the rate of
of 8% per annum from date Now therefore to better secure the
payment of said note and interest as expressed therein I do by these
presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Wm A. Colclough
his heirs and assigns all my right title interest and claim of in and
to all crops of whatsoever species kind or description now growing or
which may hereafter be planted grown or gathered by me or for me
or for my benefit on or off of any and all lands in Alachua County
Florida Also the following described property to wit; One Buck Board
To Have and To Hold all and singular the crops lands and personal
property above bargained and sold unto the said Wm A. Colclough his
heirs executors administrators and assigns forever Provided nevertheless
that if the said H.P. Sessions should well and truly pay or
cause to be paid unto the said Wm A. Colclough the full
amount of said note together with the interest according to
its tenor and effect then this instrument to be void else to remain
in full force and virtue. And it is hereby further agreed that should
it become necessary to enforce this instrument by legal proceedings
the said H.P. Sessions will pay therefor all attorney's fees and expenses
