       David Brown To Jesse I. Griffin

Alachua County   } This Indenture made and entered into
this 18th day of December AD 1883 by and between Jesse I. Griffin 
party of the first part and David Brown party of the second part
Witnesseth That the said David Brown for and in consideration 
of the sum of One Dollar to him in hand paid by the said Jesse
I. Griffon before the sealing and delivery of these presents as well
as for the further consideration of the sum of One Hundred and
twenty five Dollars lawful money of the United States for which
sum of money he is lawfully indebted to the said Jesse I Griffin
has granted bargained and sold and by these presents does grant
bargain sell and convey unto the said Jesse I. Griffin his
heirs or assigns the following described property to wit: One
blazed faced sorrel filly about Two and a half years old
also all the right title interest or claim which the said
Davis Brown now has or may hereafter have in or to any
and all crops of any kind or description now growing or
which may be hereafter planted grown or gathered by him
or for him or for his benefit on or off of any and all lands
in Alachua County Florida at any time in the future until
said sum of money is fully and satisfactorily paid and it
is hereby further agreed and understood that the said David
Brown shall Hold and possess said blazed face sorrel filly at
his own risk until the first day of November AD 1883 at which
time the aforesaid sum of One hundred and Twenty five Dollars
being the amount of the indebtedness of the said David Brown
to the said Jesse I. Griffin shall be due and paid and
the said David Brown does hereby voluntarily waive and
and renounce all right to or benefits to be divided from the so called
existing homestead and exemption laws of the State of Florida as
fully and entirely as if no such laws existed Now these presents
are upon the express Conditions that if the said David Brown
Shall at or before the above specified day and date well and
truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Jesse I. Griffin
his heirs or assigns the full and entire sum of indebtedness
above named then these presents shall be null and void
