"Mortgage"
Whereas we J. Maxey Dell and Mary N. Dell
husband and wife are justly indebted to W.O.
Tison in the true sum of Two Thousand and Seven
hundred and Twenty Eight & 76/100 Dollars which
said Sum of Money is Covenanted to be paid by
our Certain promissory note of even date here-
with said rate being for the said Sum of Two
Thousand Seven hundred and Twenty Eight & 76/100
Dollars and being due and payable on or before
the (2nd) second day of January AD 1885 and bearing
interest at the rate of one and one half (1 1/2%) per
month from the date thereof the said interest to be
paid Quarterly until paid in full.
And whereas we are desirous of fully and better
securing the payment of said note and the in-
terest to accrue thereon so covenanted by said
note to be paid. Therefore know all men by these
presents that we J. Maxey Dell and Mary N. Dell
his wife for and in consideration of the premises
and of the sum of one Dollar to us in hand
paid by W.O. Tison have granted bargained sold
and Mortgaged unto the said W.O. Tison the following
lots tracts parcels or pieces of land situated lying
and being in the County of Alachua in the State of
Florida particularly described as follows to wit:
Lots No8 of Sec(34) Tp8 R19 S&E Containing 103 acres
more or less - Lot Nº(1) one sec3 Tp9 R19 S&E Con-
taining (50) acres more or less Lot Nº(6) sec34 Tp8 R19 S&E
Containing (76) acres more or less. The East
half of Lot Nº (2) Two Sec (3) Tp19 Ra9 S&E Containing
(25) acres more or less Lot Nº (6) sec 34 Tp8 R19 S&E
Containing (76) acres more or less - the foregoing des-
cribed lands being owned by J. Maxey Dell in his
own right - And whereas the said Mary N. Dell is

For value received by deed to real estate embraced in this mortgage I hereby
acknowledge full satisfaction by deed made and delivered to me August 19th 1898
by J. Maxey Dell and M.N. Dell his wife August 26th 1898
