Sixty days after date without interest until after maturity
And whereas I am desirous of fully and better securing the
payment of said note and the sum of money men-
tioned therein- Therefore know all men by these pres-
ents that I E.C. Pound for and in Consideration of
the premises and of one dollar to me in hand paid
have granted bargained sold and Conveyed and by
these presents do grant bargain sell and Convey
unto the said L.J. Parsons his heirs and assigns all
the following described piece parcel or tract of
land Situated lying and being in the County of Alachua
State of Florida to wit: Lot Nº Seven (7) Block
Four (4) Range Three (3) of Ropers addition to the
Town of Gaines said lot being this day sold to
Said Pound by Aaron W. Keeler and this mortgage
being given to secure a part of the purchase money
for said above described lot: Together with all and
Singular the tenements hereditamens and appurten-
ances to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining
To Have and to hold the Same unto the Said
L.J. Parsons his heirs and assigns forever. Provided
however and these presents are upon the express
Conditions that if the said E.C. Pound his heirs or
assigns Shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid
the sum of money Covenanted to be paid by said
note together with the interest to accrue thereon
according to the legal tenor and effect thereof then
this obligation Shall become null and void other-
wise to remain in full force and virtue. And it is
hereby further agreed and Stipulated that the
said E.C. Pound his heirs or assigns will pay all Costs
expenses and attorneys fees which the said L.J. Parsons
may be put to in enforcing the Collection of the afore-
said Sum of money covenanted to be paid by said
note by foreclosure or otherwise
