Thomas Harris to J.N. Bone
"Mortgage"
This Indenture made and entered into this January the 16 1884
between Thomas Harris of the first part and J.N. Bone of the
second part witnesseth that the said party of the first part for
and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to him paid
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged does hereby grant
bargain sell and convey to the party of the second part four
Horses described as follows one roan mare and her colt the said
colt being four days old the said colt being roan color with star
in face one light sorrel mare about five years old one sorrel
colt both hind feet white up to its knees with star and
blaze face about eighteen months old All in Alachua County
and State of Florida To Have and to Hold to the party of the
second part his heirs and assigns But upon this condition
that if the party of the first part shall pay to the party of
the second part his heirs or assigns a promissory note of even date
with this for one hundred dollars payable on the first day of
November AD 1884 then this deed of Mortgage to be void but with
the additional proviso that the party of the first part shall
pay all the expenses of foreclosure including attorney's fees
if foreclosure is made his
