one foot North of said Woodwards fence on North side of said
Woodwards land thence West to land of A.N. Smith thence South to
place of beginning Together with all and singular the tenements hereditam-
ents and appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise
appertaining To Have and to Hold the same unto the said John W.
Shearhouse his heirs and assigns forever Provided however and these
presents are upon this express condition that if the said Paul E.
Woodward His heirs or assigns shall well and truly pay or cause to
be paid the sum of money covenanted to be paid by said note
together with the said interest to accrue thereon according to the
legal tenor and effect then this obligation shall become
null and void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue
And it is hereby further agreed and Stipulated that the
said Paul E. Woodward his heirs or assigns will pay all
costs expenses and attorneys fees which the said John W.
Shearhouse may be put to in enforcing the collection
of the aforesaid sum of money covenanted to be paid by
said note by foreclosure or otherwise. In Witness Whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal on this
