Lemuel P. Burnett to Louis Roux
                   "Mortgage"
State of Florida } This Indenture made this 29th day of January in
Alachua County   } the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred
and Eighty Four between Lemuel P. Burnett of said State & County of
the first part and Louis Roux as Executor of the same State & County
of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first
part in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred Dollars lawful
money of the United States to him in hand paid the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold released
& confirmed & by these presents doth grant bargain sell release
and confirm unto the said party of the second part and to his
heirs and assigns forever all that certain piece or parcel of land
lying and being in said State & County and known & described as
follows South half of the South east quarter of the SE quarter of the
North West quarter of Section thirty two Township nine (9) South
of Range Twenty (20) East containing by estimation five acres of land
more or less together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments
& appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining To Have
& to Hold the same unto him the said party of the second part and
to his heirs Executors and assigns in fee simple absolute. Provided
Always and these presents are upon this Condition that if the
said party of the first part shall well and truly pay his certain
promissory note bearing even date herewith given to the said
party of the second part the sum of Two Hundred Dollars lawful
money of the United States according to the tenor of said note then
these presents shall become void and the estate hereby granted Shall
cease & utterly determine. In Witness Whereof the said party of the
first part have hereunto set his hand & Seal the day & year first
above written
