agreed and Stipulated that as a further security for the payment
of said sum of money by said note covenanted to be paid that the
said Mary S. Sheats and W.N. Sheats will and do transfer and
and assign in fee as collateral security all the policy and policies
of Insurance against Fire which they hold on the houses
buildings furniture and of all and every nature by them so
held In Witness Whereof we have herewith set our hands and
affixed our seals on this 28th day of January AD 1884

Alachua County   } I hereby certify that on this 29th day of
January AD 1884 before me personally came Mary S. Sheats
and W.N. Sheats who say and acknowledge before me that
they signed sealed executed and delivered the foregoing
Mortgage Deed for the uses and purposes therein Contained and
expressed. And further that also personally appeared the
said Mary S. Sheats wife of the aforesaid W.N. Sheats who
being first Questioned and examined by me separate and
apart from her husband says that she made herself a party to
the foregoing Mortgage Deed for the purpose of conveying all
her separate estate in and to the lands therein described and
that she did the same freely and voluntarily and
without any compulsion Constraint apprehension or fear
of or from her said said husband     }

Town of Gainesville County of Alachua State of Florida am
Justly indebted to John W. Hudson and Myron B. French in the
sum of Nineteen Hundred and Eighty seven Dollars and Fifty
cents ($1987.50) which said sum of money is covenanted to be
paid by Three certain promissory notes bearing even date herewith
