Alachua County   } Whereas A.D. Cone and Martha
Cone his wife is justly indebted to J.E.W. Markey in
the Sum of Five hundred Dollars which Said Sum
of money is Covenanted to be paid by two Certain promissory
notes bearing even date herewith:
1st One Note dated December 6th 1883 for $25000 with Eight
pr ct interest from date due on the first day of January
1885, given in favor of J.E.W. Markey and Signed by
A.D. Cone
2nd One Note dated December 6th 1883 For $25000 with
Eight pr ct interest from date due on the first day of
January 1886 given in favor of J.E.W. Markey and signed
by A.D. Cone - And whereas they are desirous of
fully and better securing the payment of said notes and
the sum of money mentioned therein, Therefore Know all
men by these presents that we A.D. Cone and Martha
Cone for and in consideration of the premises and of
one dollar to them in hand paid have granted bar-
gained sold and conveyed and by these presents
