The State of Florida }
    Alachua County   }         Know all men by these Presents:
               That  I Lawman Ward (widowed)
of the aforesaid County and State, for and in consideration of the sum of  Four Hundred and Fifty
                                       Dollars to me in hand paid by  Etter Ward

of the County of Alachua in the State of Florida the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained, sold and
conveyed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto her the said  Etter Ward

all that certain lot, piece, tract or parcel of land situated, lying and being in the County of Alachua, State of Florida particularly known and described as follows, to wit:
The South half of the North East quarter of the south East quarter of Section (22)
Twenty Two, Township 8 South of Range (21) Twenty one East Containing Twenty
Acres more or less, Also a fractional piece of land commencing at the grade
of the F.R. & Cos Railroad on the North line of the South east quarter of the
South East quarter of the south East quarter of Sec 22 Town 8 Range 21 East
distant about (200) Two hundred feet west of the North East Corner of the afore
said quarter, Thence West Five hundred and twenty feet. Thence Southerly Three
hundred and twenty five feet tot he Rail Road, Thence along the Rail Road
South Easterly to the place of beginning only reserving right of way for the
Rail Road Containing two acres more or less






 
containing by estimation     Twenty Two                         acres of land, more or less, Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and
appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining.
      To Have and to Hold the same unto  her the said  Etter Ward

and to her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, in fee simple absolute. And I the said Luman Ward


do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said  Etter Ward

that I am lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed, and that I have good and lawful right to sell and convey the same; that the same is free from all encumbrances 
of any kind whatsoever, and that I will and my heirs, executors and administrators shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto  the said
 
and to  heirs, executors and administrators and assigns, against the lawful claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same.
       In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand  and affixed my seal  on this   20th              day of    October                A.D. 1888

                     } me personally appeared Mrs.   
wife of                    the grantor in the foregoing conveyance, who being first duly questioned and examined by me, separate and
apart from her said husband, says and acknowledges before me that she did sign the said deed of conveyance for the purpose of releasing, relinquishing and renouncing all her right of Dower in and to land in said 
Deed described, and that the said Relinquishment and Renunciation of Dower was done and made by her freely and voluntarily, and without any compulsion, constraint, apprehension or fear of or
from her husband.
