Alachua County } Know all men by these Presents:
That I Mrs Kate R. Young (widow)
of the aforesaid County and State, for and in consideration of the sum of Four Hundred
Dollars to me in hand paid by Mrs Lucy M. Richardson
of the County of Alachua in the State of Florida the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained, sold and
conveyed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto her the said Mrs Lucy M. Buchannon
all that certain lot, piece, tract or parcel of land situated, lying and being in the County of Alachua, State of Florida particularly known and described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at a stake on the Northern boundary line of the D.L. Clinch
Grant on One thousand acres in Township Ten (10) South Range Twenty (20)
East, which starting point is located two and a half Chains South Eighty
five (85°) East of and from the south East corner of forty acre tract now owned
by William N. Sheats and from said starting point running South Five
(5°) degrees, west at a right angle with the line of the said Clinch Grant
Eight Chains, Thence South Eighty Five (85°) East Eight (8) Chains to the said
Northern boundary line of the said Clinch Grant, Thence North Eighty five (85°)
degrees west along said line Six (6) Chains and Twenty five (25) links,
Containing by estimation Five (5) acres of land more or less
containing by estimation Five acres of land, more or less, Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and
appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining.
To Have and to Hold the same unto her the said Mrs Lucy M. Buchannon
and to her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, in fee simple absolute. And I the said Mrs Kate R. Young (widow)
do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Mrs Lucy M. Buchannon
that I am lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed, and that I have good and lawful right to sell and convey the same; that the same is free from all encumbrances
of any kind whatsoever, and that I will and my heirs, executors and administrators shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto her the said
Mrs Lucy M. Buchannon
and to her heirs, executors and administrators and assigns, against the lawful claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same.

Alachua County } I Hereby Certify that on this day of A.D. 18 before
} me personally appeared Mrs.
wife of the grantor in the foregoing conveyance, who being first duly questioned and examined by me, separate and
apart from her said husband, says and acknowledges before me that she did sign the said deed of conveyance for the purpose of releasing, relinquishing and renouncing all her right of Dower in and to land in said
Deed described, and that the said Relinquishment and Renunciation of Dower was done and made by her freely and voluntarily, and without any compulsion, constraint, apprehension or fear of or
from her husband.
