Alachua County } Know all men by these Presents:
That I Eugene C. Pelot (Bachelor)
of the aforesaid County and State, for and in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred and Fifty
Dollars to me in hand paid by Mrs Alice J. Bauknight of the Town of Archer and
of the County of Alachua in the State of Florida the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained, sold and
conveyed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto her the said Alice J. Bauknight
all that certain lot, piece, tract or parcel of land situated, lying and being in the County of Alachua, State of Florida particularly known and described as follows, to wit:
One half interest in the North East Quarter of South West Quarter of Section
Thirty Four Township Eleven South of Range Eighteen East Containing in Said
half interest Twenty acres more or less, Also an undivided one half interest
in Lots, Two, Three, four and five, in the Town of Archer in Alachua County
Florida, the above described land having been deeded to me by J.P. Bauknight
Assignee for F.G. Bauknight on the first day of July AD Eighteen Hundred
and Eighty Nine and recorded in Gainesville Florida by J.A. Carlisle Clerk
pr E.C. Wimberly Deputy Clerk on the Twenty eighth day of January Eighteen
hundred and ninety in Deed Book 31 at page 213
containing by estimation -- acres of land, more or less, Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and
appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining.
To Have and to Hold the same unto her the said Alice J. Bauknight
and to her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, in fee simple absolute. And I the said Eugene C. Pelot
do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Alice J. Bauknight
that I am lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed, and that I have good and lawful right to sell and convey the same; that the same is free from all encumbrances
of any kind whatsoever, and that I will and my heirs, executors and administrators shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto her the said
Alice J. Bauknight
and to her heirs, executors and administrators and assigns, against the lawful claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same.

Alachua County } I Hereby Certify that on this day of A.D. 18 before
} me personally appeared Mrs.
wife of the grantor in the foregoing conveyance, who being first duly questioned and examined by me, separate and
apart from her said husband, says and acknowledges before me that she did sign the said deed of conveyance for the purpose of releasing, relinquishing and renouncing all her right of Dower in and to land in said
Deed described, and that the said Relinquishment and Renunciation of Dower was done and made by her freely and voluntarily, and without any compulsion, constraint, apprehension or fear of or
from her husband.
