Alachua County } Know all men by these Presents:
That I Thomas B. Lewis Bachelor
of the aforesaid County and State, for and in consideration of the sum of Three
Dollars to me in hand paid by David S. Smith and Mary E. Smith
of the County of Alachua in the State of Florida the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained, sold and
conveyed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto them the said David S. Smith and Mary E. Smith
his wife
all that certain lot, piece, tract or parcel of land situated, lying and being in the County of Alachua, State of Florida particularly known and described as follows, to wit:
The East half of the South East quarter of the North West quarter and the
south West quarter of the North East quarter, and South East quarter of
North East quarter, all in section Twenty seven (27) Township (9) South of
Range (22) East, and also a certain tract Containing twenty nine acres
Section & Township,
part of the North East quarter of South West quarter, same^contain
ing in all One hundred and twenty nine (129) acres more or less
containing by estimation One Hundred & Twenty nine acres of land, more or less, Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and
appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining.
To Have and to Hold the same unto them the said David S. Smith Mary E. Smith
and to their heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, in fee simple absolute. And I the said Thomas B. Lewis
do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said David S. Smith and Mary E. Smith
that I am lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed, and that I have good and lawful right to sell and convey the same; that the same is free from all encumbrances
of any kind whatsoever, and that I will and my heirs, executors and administrators shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto them the said
David S. Smith and Mary E. Smith
and to their heirs, executors and administrators and assigns, against the lawful claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same.

Alachua County } I Hereby Certify that on this day of A.D. 18 before
} me personally appeared Mrs.
wife of the grantor in the foregoing conveyance, who being first duly questioned and examined by me, separate and
apart from her said husband, says and acknowledges before me that she did sign the said deed of conveyance for the purpose of releasing, relinquishing and renouncing all her right of Dower in and to land in said
Deed described, and that the said Relinquishment and Renunciation of Dower was done and made by her freely and voluntarily, and without any compulsion, constraint, apprehension or fear of or
from her husband.
