Alachua County } Know all men by these Presents:
That We Mina D Downing and Thomas W Downing
of the aforesaid County and State, for and in consideration of the sum of Thirty
Dollars to us in hand paid by Amanda K. Hodges
at the County of Alachua in the State of Florida the receipt whereof We do hereby acknowledge, have granted,
bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell and convey unto her unto him the said Amanda K Hodges her heirs and assigns forever
all that certain lot, piece, tract or parcel of land situated, lying and being in the County of Alachua, State of Florida particularly
known and described as follows, to wit:
AS the North East quarter of Lot one according to survey of the
North half of Lot 5 in Section Fifteen Township Eight South
of Range Eighteen East, Commencing forty feet South of the
North East Corner of said North half of Lot 5 Sec 15 T8S
of Range 18E and run south Two Hundred feet Thence West
Two hundred feet thence North Two hundred feet, Thence East
Two hundred feet to place of beginning
containing by estimation one acres of land, more or less, Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and
appertenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining.
To Have and to Hold the same unto her the said Amanda K Hodges
and to her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, in fee simple absolute. And We the said Mina D Downing and Thomas W Downing
do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Amanda K Hodges
that We are lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed, and that We have good
and lawful right to sell and convey the same; that the same is free from all encumberances of any kind whatsoever, and that We
will and our heirs, executors and administrators shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto her the said
Amanda K Hodges
and to her heirs, executors and administrators and assigns, against the lawful claims and demands of any and all persons
whomsoever now claiming or hereafter to claim the same.

Alachua County } I Hereby Certify that on the Fifth day of September A. D. 1884
me personally appeared Mrs. Mina D Downing
wife of Thomas W Downing the grantor in the foregoing conveyance, who being first duly qusetioned and examined by me, separate
and apart from her said husband, says and acknowledges before me that she did sign the said deed of conveyance for the purpose
of releasing, relinquishing and renouncing all her right of Dower in and to land in said deed described, and that the said
Relinquishment and Renunciation of Dower was done and made by her freely and voluntarily, and without any compulsion, constraint,
apprehension or fear of or from her husband.
