This Indenture made this thirteenth day of April AD 1892 between
Phillip Walter and John King Special Masters appointed by the Circuit Court of the
United States for the Northern District of Florida parties of the first part and Henry D.
Hyde and Frank Q. Brown of the City of Boston in the State of Massachusetts parties of the second
part, Witnesseth that whereas in the Circuit Court of the United States for the Northern
District of Florida held at the City of Jacksonville in the State of Florida on the 9th day
December AD 1891 in a certain cause then pending in the said Court between the
New England Trust Company Complainant and the Florida Southern Railway
Company defendant it was among other things ordered adjudged and decreed by the said
Court that the lands property rights and franchises described or referred to in the bill of
complaint in said cause and every part and parcel thereof be sold together as an
entirety by or under the direction of John King Esquire and Philip Walter Esquire
who were thereby appointed Masters for that purpose at public auction at
Jacksonville Florida before the Court house of the Federal Court at that place on the 7th
day of March AD 1892 at 11 o clock AM of said day; that public notice of the time and place
of such sale be given by publication of an advertisement once a week for eight weeks
successively in one of the principal newspapers in each of the cities of Boston New York
and Jacksonville Florida that such notice describe the property rights and franchises to be
sold in general terms, but in such case shall refer to this decree for a more particular
description, that when the sale to be made hereunder shall have been confirmed by the
Court and all the conditions of the sale and all the orders of the Court in respect thereto
shall have been fully complied with the Masters making the sale shall execute
and deliver to the purchaser or purchasers a deed or deeds duly conveying and
transferring all the property rights and franchises sold by them under this decree
and whereas in pursuance of the order and decree of said Court and in pursuance of
said advertisement the said Masters did on the 7th day of March AD 1892 at 11 o'clock
AM of said day sell at public auction before the Court House of the Federal Court
at Jacksonville Florida all the property in the said order mentioned due notice
of the time and place of such sale being first given agreeably to the said
