Homestead Certificate No 3127 } The United States of America  
Application 4613              } To all to whom these presents Shall 
come Greeting, Whereas there has been deposited in the General 
Land Office of the United States a Certificate of the Register of the 
Land Office at Gainesville Florida whereby it appears that pursu=
ant to the act of Congress approved 20th May 1862 "To Secure Home
steads to Actual Settlers on the Public Domain" and the acts Sup-
plemental thereto, the claim of Seaborn J. Collins has been es
tablished and duly consumated in conformity to law for the 
South West quarter of Section Twelve in Township Ten South of 
Range Fourteen East of Tallahassee Meridian in Florida, Con
taining one hundred and fifty nine acres and two hundredths 
of an acre, according to the Official Plat of the Survey of the 
said Land returned to the General Land office by the Surveyor Gen
eral, Now Know Ye, That there is therefore granted by the United 
States unto the said Seaborn J. Collins the tract of Land above 
described, To have and to hold the said tract of Land with the 
appurtenances thereof unto the said Seaborn J. Collins and to his 
heirs and assigns forever. In Testimony whereof I Chester A.
Arthur President of the United States of America have caused 
these letters to be made Patent and the seal of the General Land 
Office to be hereunto affixed, Given under my hand at the 
City of Washington, the thirteenth day of August in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Eighty three
and of the Independence of the United States the one hundred and Eighth

This Indenture made this day of August 25th AD 1892 between
Washington Beauford and L.C. Beauford his wife of Alachua
County and State of Florida of the first part and Martin F.
Collins of the County of Alachua in the State of Florida of the
second part. Witnesseth, that the Said party of the first part
for and in Consideration of the sum of Thirty Five Dollars
paid by the said party of the second part the receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged has granted bargained sold convey-
ed and confirmed and by these presents does grant bar-
gain sell convey and Confirm unto the said party of the
