This Indenture made and entered into this 23d day of June in the Year of our
Lord One thousand eight hundred and ninety Three, Between Elbert McKinney
Sr & Ann McKinney his wife of the County of Alachua State of Florida of the
First part and The Savannah Florida and Western Railway Company a
Corporation duly established and existing under the laws of the States
of Georgia and Florida party of the second part. Witnesseth that said par
ties of the first part for and consideration of the Sum of Thirty Dollars
of lawful Money of the United States of America to them in hand paid by the
said party of the second part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these
presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained
Sold aliened remised released Conveyed and Confirmed and by these presents
does grant bargain sell alien remise release convey and Confirm unto the
said party of the second part and to its Successors and assigns forever all of
a certain tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the County
of Alachua State of Florida described as follows to wit, a Strip of land
