the foregoing instrument and severally acknowledged the execution thereof
to be their free act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned
and the said Elizabeth J. and Dorsie L. Ivey the wives of the said R.A. & W.S.
Ivey on an examination taken and made separately and apart from her
said husband did acknowledged that she made herself a party to the said
Deed for the purpose of renouncing and relinquishing her dower or right of
dower in and to the lands tenements and hereditaments therein described
and thereby granted and released, and that such relinquishment and renunci
ation of dower is made by her freely and voluntarily and without any
Constraint apprehension or fear of or from her said husband

State of Florida } This conveyance made this 12th day of June
Alachua County   } A.D. 1893 between the City of Gainesville in said
State and County a Municipal Corporation duly incorporated
under the Laws of the aforesaid State party of the first part
and E. Baird  A.M. Cushman and M.B. Saunders as Trustees
for Center Lodge No 11, Independent Order of Odd Fellows of
said State and County, parties of the second part, Witnesseth
That Whereas the Trustees appointed by the Grand Lodge of
the Independent order of Odd Fellows of the State of Florida
have decided and determined to build and Establish in said
City of Gainesville an Odd Fellows Home for the benifit and
Care of the indigent and infirm Membership of that order
And Whereas the terms and Conditions upon which said Odd Fellows
Home is to be located with said City of Gainesville is Such that the
said Municipal Corporation and the Citizens thereof shall bestow and
donate to said Odd Fellows Order a building Cite for said "Home"
and a certain sum of money, And Whereas the Citizens as afore
said have subscribed donated and bestowed upon said "Home"
the sum of Money as aforesaid, and to secure the building
and permanent establishment of said "Home" as aforesaid it only
remains for said Municipal Corporation to donate grant and
Convey the Cite therefor as aforesaid, Now this Indenture, Witnesseth
that the said party of the first part in Consideration of the
Premises and of the sum of One Dollar to it in hand paid
by the said parties of the second part the receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged has granted bargained sold and Conveyed
and by these Presents does grant bargain Sell and Convey unto
the said parties of the second part their Successors and assigns
