State of Florida } This Conveyance made this 5th day of May AD
Alachua County } 1893, by and between William A. Colclough (un
married) of said State and County party of the first part and Thomas
Chisholm, Henry F. Chisholm, Violet Anglin, Dudley Chisholm
Jr. Sarah Chisholm, James Chisholm and Edward Chisholm
all of aforesaid County and State parties of the second part Witnesseth
Whereas, on the 5th day of January AD 1867, said party of the
first part, by his certain Warranty deed, sold and conveyed
to Ned Chisholm, Dudley Chisholm, and William Chisholm
all late of said State and County deceased, an Estate in fee
in and to the lands herein after described, receiving in pay
ment therefor the sufficient and valuable consideration there
in named, which said deed of conveyance is recorded at
pages 149 & 150 of Deed Book "G" public records of said County
and whereas said William Chisholm, deceased, departed this life
sometime during the year AD 1890, leaving as his sole heirs
at law, said Ned and Dudley Chisholm deceased, all said
decedents being brothers, And whereas, said Dudley Chisholm de
ceased, departed this life on the 7th day of July AD 1882 leaving
as his sole heirs at law two daughters, Violet Chisholm (now the
wife of Reuben Anglin) Malinda Chisholm, deceased (She having
died on the 9th day of April AD 1893 unmarried and without is
sue) and one son Prymus Chisholm, who departed this life
some time during the year AD 18-, leaving as his sole heirs
at law surviving him, four children viz. Dudley Chisholm
Jr, Sarah Chisholm, James Chisholm, and Edward Chisholm
and whereas said Ned Chisholm, deceased, departed this life
on or about the 14th day of August AD 1892, leaving as his
sole heirs at law two sons, said Thomas Chisholm and Henry
F. Chisholm, And whereas, on the 6th day of June AD 1883
the said lands hereinafter described were erroneously and
fraudulently sold for the Nonpayment of taxes to the State
and the Certificate thereof (No 203) was bought by G.B. Griffin
of aforesaid State and County to whom, on the 1st day of January
AD 1886, a deed for said land was executed by said State, through
J.A. Carlisle, as Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for said
County, and whereas on the 15st day of April AD 1889 |
