AD 1894 between A.M. Cushman, E. Baird and M.B. Saunders
Trustees of Center Lodge Number 11 IOOF Gainesville Florida
of the first part and "The Florida Odd Fellows Home and National
Sanitarium Association" a Corporation duly organized under the
laws of the State of Florida party of the second part Witnesseth
that the parties of the first part for and in consideration of the loca=
tion of the "Home for sick and indigent Odd Fellows at Gainesville Florida
which said Home has been located at Gainesville Florida and the buil=
ding completed and for the further Consideration of the sum of ten
dollars ($10.00) to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknow=
ledged have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents
do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said party of the second
part its successors and assigns all the following described piece
parcel lot or tract of land situate lying and being in the County
of Alachua in the State of Florida and more particularly Known
and described as follows to wit: Beginning at a point 197 feet South
of the South West Corner of the lot of land in East Gainesville owned
and occupied by Thomas F. King and runs East four hundred (400)
feet: Thence North one hundred and Sixty seven (167) feet, thence East
one hundred and ninety one (191) feet, thence South three hundred
and eighty five (385) feet Thence West four hundred and thirty one
(431) thence North one hundred and eighty feet thence West one
hundred and Sixty (160) feet thence North thirty (30) feet to the point of
beginning. Containing by estimation 3 acres of land more or less
to have and to hold the same togather with and singular the tenements
hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any
wise appertaining forever in fee simple. And said parties
of the first part Covenant that the above described premises
are free clear and discharged from all incumbrances of whatsoever
