Alachua County } Know all men by these presents,
That the Evergreen Cemetery Association
a Corporation under the laws of Florida, operated in the
County aforesaid, for, and in consideration of fifteen dollars
to it in hand paid, does by these presents grant, alien and con-
vey unto E.A. Jeffords, his heirs and assigns, the following
piece of land in Alachua County, Florida, particularly de-
scribed upon the plat of Evergreen Cemetery, as recorded among
public records of said County as follows, to-wit:
Lot - Block 22 of Section 3,
To Have and to Hold the same unto him and his heirs
and assigns forever, as a place of permanent interment for
white persons, under the rules and regulations of this As-
sociation, not to exceed one interment in each lot,
Provided, however and these presents are upon this ex-
press condition, that no transfer of the above granted prem-
ises can be made without the consent of this association
in writing.

its authorized officers, at its office in the City of Gaines-
ville, Florida, on this second day of April A.D. 1892
