The State of Florida,} KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that Mrs M.E. Robertson
ALACHUA COUNTY.}
Of the aforesaid County and State, for and in consideration of the sum of
One Dollar, and other valuable considerations
to her in hand paid by
The County of Alachua
of the County of Alachua in the
State of Florida, the receipt whereof she do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained, sold and
conveyed, and by these presents do
grant bargain sell and convey unto them, the said
County of Alachua
all that certain lot, piece, tract or parcel of land situated, lying and being in the County
Of Alachua, State of Florida, particularly known and described as follows, to-wit: beginning at a
point where the centerline (running
East and West) of Sec 1 T10 R 20 adjoins line of section 2 T10 R20 and running N. fifty and one
half(52 1/2) feet thence running due east parallel with said centerline across Sec 1 T10 R20 to Section 6 T10
R21, thence S 105 feet thence W. parallel with centerline of Sec 1 T10 R20 two thirds of the
distance across said Section 1 T10 R20 to and adjoining the land owned by J.L. Kelley.
Provided
as this deed is made for the purpose of conveying a right of way for a public highway, the
Grantor makes the within transfer for this purpose and should the said County of
Alachua or citizens of the said County of Alachua fail to construct a road within right of
way herein deeded within three (3) years from date here of then this deed becomes nall
and avoid: otherwise to remain in full force and effect
containing by estimation acres of land, more or less. Together with all and singular the tenements
hereditaments and appurtenances to the same
belonging or in any wise appertaining.
TO HAVE AND HOLD the same onto them the said
County of Alachua
And to their heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, in fee simple absolute. And she the said
Mrs M.E. Robertson
do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said
County of Alachua
that she is lawfully seized in fee of the property herein and hereby conveyed, and that she has
good and lawful right to
sell and convey the same; that the same is free from all encumbrances of any kind whatsoever, and
that she will end her heirs, executors and
administrators, shall and will forever warrant and defend the same unto them the said
County of Alachua
and to their heirs, executors, administrators
and assigns, against the lawful claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever now claiming
or hereafter to claim the same.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal, on this 3
day of Sept A. D. 1909

Wife of ___ the grantor in the foregoing conveyance, who being
first duly questioned and examined by me, separate and apart from her husband, says and
acknowledges before me that she did sign the said Deed of Conveyance, for
the purpose of releasing, relinquishing and renouncing all her right of Dower in and to the land
in said Deed described, and that said relinquishment and Renunciation of
Dower Was done and made by her freely and voluntarily, and without any compulsion, constraint,
apprehension or fear of or from her said husband.
