This Indenture, Made and executed this 3rd day
of April 1916, by and between P.G. Ramsey, as Sheriff of
Alachua County, Florida, First Party, and C.D. Wood
of The County of Alachua State of Florida, second
Party, Witnesseth:
That Whereas, under and by virtue of a certain
Writ of fieri facias issued out of and under the
seal of The Circuit Court of The County of Alachua,
Florida, tested the 1st day of November 1915, in
favor of C.D. Wood Plaintiff, and against Wylie
Matthews, defendant said Writ being directed
to all and singular The Sheriffs of The State of
Florida, The said first party as sheriff aforesaid,
did levy upon the land hereinafter described
as the property of the defendant, Wylie Matthews,
and after having prior to the sale thereof here-
inafter mentioned, caused to be published, due
Notice thereof as required by law, to wit: by
publishing a Notice of such sale thereof for the
space of four successive weeks once each week,
in the Gainesville Sun, a newspaper published
at Gainesville in said County, the said publica-
tions of said Notice having been in the regu-
lar issues thereof dated March 2, 1916: March 9, 1916:
March 16, 1916: March 23, 1916: and March 30, 1916: The said
first party on the 3rd day of April, 1916, The same
being the legal sale day of said month, and
between the Legal hours of sale of said day,
pursuant to the said Notice so published
as aforesaid, did offer for sale before the |
