chattels, lands and tenements of said defendants, he
cause to be made certain moneys in said execution
specified, the said Sheriff did levy on and seize all
the estate right, title and interest which the said de-
fendants had of, in and to the property hereinafter de-
scribed, and on the first Monday in July, A.D. 1915,
being the 5th day of the month, and a legal sale day,
sold the said property at public auction in front of
the Court House, in the City of Gainesville, Alachua
County, Florida, having first given public notice
of the time and place of such sale, by advertising said
property for sale in manner and form as required by
the statute in such case made and provided in the
Gainesville Daily Sun, a newspaper published in said
City of Gainesville, in said County, for thirty days next
preceding said day of sale; and that at such sale
the said property was struck off to the said party of
the second part, for the sum of Two Hundred Dollars,
he being the highest bidder therefor, and that being the
highest sum bid for the same. Now This Indenture Wit-
nesseth, That the said party of the first part, as Sher
iff as aforesaid, by virtue of the said execution, and
in pursuance of the statute in such case made
and provided, and in consideration of the sum
of money so bid as aforesaid, and in hand paid
to the said party of the first part by the said party
of the second part, at and before the sealing and
delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold and
conveyed and by these presents doth grant, bar-
gain, sell and convey unto the said C.R. Layton
the said party of the second part, all the estate, right,
title and interest which the said defendants had
on the 15th day of January A.D. 1915, or at anytime
afterwards, of, in and to all that certain lots, piec-
es, parcels or tracts of land, situate, lying and
being in Alachua County, Florida, known and de
scribed as follows: - The SW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of NW 1/4
and the NW 1/4 of SW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section 9, town-
ship 11, Range 18; the undivided one-half interest
in the S 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of Section 33, township 11, Range
