This Deed, Made this 21st day of February AD 1916, be-
tween Cummer Lumber Company, A Corporation organized
under the laws of the State of Michigan, herein after
called the Grantor, to Denton M. Bryant a (bachelor) of
Alachua County, Florida, hereinafter called the Grantee:
Whereas, the J. Cummer & Son Lumber Company, a
Corporation organized under the laws of the State of
Michigan, acquired from time to time certain lands in
the State of Florida, among which are the lands herein-
after described, and
Whereas, on the 24th day of May, AD 1897, the said
J. Cummer & Son Lumber Company, by due authority
of law and by an amendment to its charter, duly auth-
orized by the laws of the State of its organization, se-
cured the change of its name from that of the J. Cum-
mer & Son Lumber Company to that of the Cummer Lumb-
er Company, the said Cummer Lumber Company being
identical with and the same Corporation formerly known
as J. Cummer & Son Lumber Company.
Now These Presents Witness, that the said Cummer
Lumber Company, grantor herein; for and in considera-
tion of the sum of Three hundred and twenty Dollars,
to it in hand paid by the said Grantee, the receipt
Whereof is hereby acknowledged, does hereby give;
grant, bargain, sell, alien, remise, release, enfeoff, con-
vey and confirm unto the said Grantee, and to his
heirs and assigns, forever, all that certain piece of par-
cel of land situated in Alachua County and State
of Florida, known and described as follows:
The North East quarter of the North West quarter of Sect-
ion Twenty Two (22), Township Nine (9) South, Range
Fourteen (14) East, containing forty acres, more or less.
To Have and To Hold the same together with the here-
