This Indenture, made this 20th day of May AD 1914,
between E.B. Clark of the County of Alachua and State
of Florida, party of the first part, and Tom Ashly of the
County of Alachua and State of Florida, party of the sec-
ond part.
Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part, for
and in consideration of the sum of One Dollar and other
valuable consideration, in hand paid by the said part
of the second part, the receipt Whereof is hereby acknowl-
edge, have remised, released and quit-claimed, and by
these presents do remise, release and quit-claim unto the
said party of the second part, and his heirs and assigns
forever, all the right, title, interest, claim and demand which
the said party of the first part have in and to the fol-
lowing described lot, piece or parcel of land, to wit:
The S 1/2 of Block 4 Range 3 as per plat of the Town of
Santa fee now known as High Springs and same being
recorded in plat Book A at page 4 in the office of Clerk
of said Alachua County at Gainesville less 75 x 100 feet
on the South side of said lot same being Deeded to Mrs
J.M. Hunt and lying and being in the S1/2 of N 1/2
and the N 1/2 of the S 1/2 of Sec. 3 Township 8 S. of Range
17E.
To Have And To Hold the same, together with all and
singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or
in anywise thereunto appertaining, and all the estate,
right, title, interest and Claim whatever of the said
party of the first part, either in law or equity, to
the only proper use, benefit and behoof of the said
party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever.
In Witness Whereof, The said party of the first part
has hereunto set his hand and seal the day and
year first above written.
