This Indenture, made this 23rd day of June AD
1916, between D. Hicks and Wife of the County of
Alachua and State of Florida, parties of the first part,
and Abe Grant of the County of Alachua and State of
Florida, parties of the second part.
Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part, for
and in consideration of the sum of One dollar and other
valuable considerations Dollars in hand paid by the
said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, have remised, released and quit-claimed, and
by these presents do remise, release and quit-claim unto the
said party of the second part, and his heirs and assigns
forever, all the right, title, interest, claim and demand which
the said part of the first part has in and to the following
described lot, piece or parcel of land, to-wit: In Alachua
Co. Florida. Commence at N W corner of S E 4 Section 14,
Tp. 8 R. 21 E. Thence East ten (10) chains, South 9 1/2 Chs. East
Ten (10) Chains, South Ten and one half (10 1/2) Chains, west
20 Chains, North 20 Chains to beginning.
To Have And To Hold the same together with all and
singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in
anywise thereunto appertaining; and all the estate, right,
title, interest and claim whatever of the said parties of the
first part, either in law or equity, to the only proper use,
benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part,
his heirs and assigns forever.
In Witness Whereof, The said parties of the first part
has hereunto set their hand and seals the day and year
first above written.
