The United States of America, To all to whom these presents shall come, Greeting;
Homestead Certificate No 14960
Application  23359) Whereas There has been deposited in the General Land Office of the United 
States a Certificate of the Register of the Land Office at Gainesville Florida whereby it 
appears that pursuant to the Act of Congress approved 20th May 1862, "To secure Homesteads to 
Actual Settlers on the Public Domain" and the acts supplemental thereto the claim of Perry W-
Hagan has been established and duly consumated in conformity to law for the South half of the
South West quarter and the south West quarter of the South East quarter of section thirty
in Township eight South of Range fifteen East of Tallahassee Meridian in Florida containing one
hundred and twenty five cacres and fifty three hundredths of an acre.
according to the Official Plat of the survey of the said Land returned to General Land 
Office by the Surveyor General.
Now Know Ye that there is therefore granted by the United States unto the said Perry W. Hanag
the tract of land above described; To Have and to hold the said tract of land with the appurte-
nances thereof unto the said Perry W1/4 Hagan and to his heirs and assigns forever.
     In Testimony Whereof I William M. McKinley President of the United States of America
have caused these letters to be made Patent and the seal of the General Land Office to be 
hereunto affixed. Given under my hand at the City of Washington the seventh day of September
the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ______ and of the Independence of the 
United States the one hundred and twenty fifth.

Alachua County )  Received of Evans Haile One hundred dollars cash and two notes for $150
payable Dec 1st 1918 and Dec 1st 1919 respectively in payment of the purchase price for
the following described land, situated in Alachua County, Florida which I hereby agree that he
may enter and take possession of towit:
The Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section thirty township ten S of range
nineteen E.I. have this day sold to the said Evans Haile for the sum of Four Hundred dollars
the balance to be paid as avbove mentioned in the two described notes and I hereby obligate
myself my heirs executors and administrators to execute and deliver the said Evans Haile his
heirs or assigns a good and sufficient warranty deed conveying clear title to said land free
from all encumbrances
