And now to wit, on this twenty-third day of December
AD 1881 I make this Codicil to the afore written
will and testament, affirming all and singular of its
provisions excepting only that I subscribe substitute
Mary Durborow my sister and sole legatee as Executor
of this my last Will and Testament hereby un****ting
and revoking the appointment of the Guard Life
Insurance Annuity and Trust Company of Philadelphia
as such Executor, as witness my hand & seal this the day
and year last above written.

Have personally appeared George W. Nietz Jr. and H.A. De-
France two of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing last
Will of Samuel Durborow deceased, and on their solumn
oath did say that they were present, and did see and
hear Saml Durborow decd the Testator therein named
sign, seal publish and declare the same as and for
his last will and Testament, and that at the doing***
thereof, he was of sound & disposing mind memory and
understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief
