Alachua County       Personally came before me W.H. Robertson who after being duly
sworn says on oath that he saw John A. Kennedy whose name appears to the
within and foregoing Will, sign and deliver said Instrument and that he
together with J.F. McKinstry and A. Coulter witnessed the due execution
thereof and signed the same in the presence of the Testator John A. Kennedy
now deceased and in the presence of each other on the day and year as
written in said Will.

          Last Will and Testament of James Cason
In the name of God Amen.
     I, James Cason of the County of Alachua and State of
Florida being of sound mind and memory and considering the
uncertainty of this frail and transitory life do therefore make
and publish, ordain and declare this to be my last Will and
Testament, that is to say; First of all my lawful debts are paid
and discharged, the residue of my Estate both Real and personal I
bequeath and give and dispose of as follows viz; To my beloved wife
Lucinda Cason the tract of land on which I now live Known
and described as the North west quarter of South East quarter and
South West quarter of South East quarter and South West quarter
of North East quarter of section (5) five of Township seven (7) South
of Range (19) nineteen East) together with all the live stock of
whatever Kind in species together with the Household and Kitchen
furniture and all other property that may be owned by me at my
demise, Provided that my said wife shall not sell or dispose of said
Real Estate during her natural life and at her demise all of my
Estate as aforesaid shall belong to my daughter Rebecca Cason
to have and to own and dispose of as she may see cause.
     Likewise I appoint my daughter the said Rebecca Cason
the Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking
all former wills by me made.
     In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my
seal this twelfth day of July AD 1878.
