To the Hon J.C. Gardner County Judge in and for said
County.
Your Petitioner respectfully showeth that Henry James
decd late of said County died departed this life
in the month of September 1888 leaving a last Will
and Testament in which he was left sole Executor
Your Petitioner herewith presents said will and
prays that the same may be admitted to proof
and probate and that Letters Testamentary may
issue to him as such Executor, and your petitioner
will ever pray & c June 29th 1889

State of Florida}  In the name of God, Amen
Alachua County  }  I Henry James of the County of
Alachua and State of Florida, Carpenter being weak
in body and understanding but considering the un-
certainty of this life, do make and publish this
my first, as well as last Will and Testament to
wit;
First; It is my will, and I do order that all
my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid
and satisfied, as soon as conveniently can be
after my decease.
Second, I give and bequeath unto my wife Rebecca
James during her natural life, all my house hold
