same time published and declared the same to be his Last Will and
Testament and we at the Testator's request and in his presence Signed
our names as witnesses hereto and written opposite our names the re-

Alachua County        being duly sworn says that before he published or
made the will that he gave to each of his children & lawful heirs (the
said Rebecca Cason excepted (40) forty acres of land as their portion of

Alachua County        who being duly sworn says on oath that he saw
James Cason whose signature appears to the foregoing will Sign
and seal said instrument and he together with James E.W. Markey
and Joseph M. Malphurs witnessed the due execution thereof and
signed the same as witnesses in the presence of the Testator James
Cason and in presence of each other on the day and year as written
in said Will
