lately owned by Gen Wm H. Ludlow of New York whether
said interest be in the shape of a mortgage held by
me on said land, or by my Trustee Robert Adger
or in the shape of any other instrument direct or
indirect therein, This ****** being and to be considered
as in full settlement and discharge of any and
all claims, of any nature or kind whatever which
they may have against me
Item All the rest residue and remainder of my estate of
any and every kind, real personal and mixed, of
which I may die seized and possessed, I give devise
and bequeath to my relative Robert AdgerClark of
the City of Charleston S.C. to him and his heirs Ex-
ecutors, Administrators and assigns forever as
a token of my regard and appreciation of his
many acts of Kindness to me
Item I nominate and appoint Robert Adger of Charleston
S.C. Executor of this my last will and testament and
hereby invest him with full power and authority
to Sell and dispose of any and every part, or the
whole of my estate on such terms and in such
manner as he may deem best, for any purpose he
may judge necessary, and proper deeds and con
veyances to execute to the the purchasers thereof
