                 J. Adger Clark
confirmed upon him by the Clerk of said Court and
returned that the paper purporting to be the last Will
and testament of J. Adger Clark deceased hereto at
tached being duly examined by before him, the undersigned
Frank R. Frost, by Robert Adger, the Executor therein men-
tioned for probate by the oath and examination of
Augustine T. Smythe, Charles C. West and D.M. O'Driscoll
subscribing witnesses thereto
  And the said Augustine T. Smythe Charles C. West
D.M. O'Driscoll, the said Witnesses being ever duly
present to wit in the eighteenth day of February AD
1891 in the City of Charleston State of South Carolina
and being each duly sworn doth depose and say, and
each for himself deposeth and saith that he is a
Subscribing witness to the paper writing now shown
him, purporting to be the last Will and testament
of J. Adger Clark deceased, that the said J. Adger Clark
in the presence of these deposents, and each and every of
them, subscribed his name at the end of said paper
writing which is now shown as aforesaid, and which
bears date the 19th day of June AD 1878 at Charleston
S.C., and the Deposents further say, and each for him-
self deposeth and saith, that the said J. Adger Clark
the testator aforesaid did at the time of subscribing
his name as aforesaid, declare that the said paper
writing so subscribed by him, and exhibited to be his last
will and testament, and that the deponent and each
of them did thereunto subscribe his name at the end
of said will as an attesting witness thereto and at
the request and in the presence of the said testator
and in the presence of each other. And these de-
posents each for himself further Saith that at the
said time, when the said Testator J. Adger Clark
subscribed his name to the said last will and
testament as aforesaid, and at the time of each
of the Deponents subscribing his name as an
attesting witness thereto, as aforesaid, the said
J. Adger Clark was of Sound mind and memory
of full age to execute a will and was not under
any restraint, to the knowledge, information and
belief of these Deponents, and further these De-
posents say not         Augustine T. Smythe
