And the said Frank R. Frost Commissioner as aforesaid
can hereby certify and return that he duly administered
the said oath to the said Augustine T. Smythe
Charles C. West and D.M. O'Driscoll, and that
each took the said oath before him and each
subscribed his name to the above deposition of the
said Frank R. Frost, and thereupon the same
has been subscribed and sealed by him the
said Frank R. Frost and attested by him
to the paper writing, purporting to be the last
will of J. Adger Clark deceased, this eighteenth
day of February AD 1891, the words "and in the
presence of each other" being interlined before
signing Frank R. Frost

The foregoing paper writing purporting
to be the last Will and Testament of J. Adger Clark deceased
having been exhibited before me, the undersigned Clerk of
Superior
the Court^Court for the aforesaid County by J.G. Martin
Attorney for Robert Adger, the Executor named in the
same, and the due execution of the said last Will or
testament by the said Adger Clark having been duly
proven by oath and examination of Augustine T. Smythe
D.M. O'Driscoll and Charles C. West, the subscribing
witness thereto: and the said Robert Adger Executor
having qualified as Executor of said Last Will and
Testament by taking the oath required by law, and
it appearing to my Satisfaction that the value of the per-
sonal estate of the said J. Adger Clark, in North Carolina
as not more than Seven hundred & fifty Dollars and the
said Robert Adger having entered into an undertaking
in writing in the sum of fifteen Hundred Dollars with
two good and sufficient Sureties, both of which
have justified before me, and the said bond having
been approved by me and filed & recorded in my
office as required by law in case of foreign or non
resident Executors it is therefore adjudged decreed
