Deceased Petition for Probate of will
To the Hon J.C. Gardner County Judge Within and
for  Alachua County Florida sitting and Exercising
Probate Jurisdiction The Petition of Louis A. Barnes
Respectfully Showeth unto your Honor that his wife
                          and had her Home in Gainesville
Sarah R. Barnes who last Resided^in Alachua County
Florida departed this life at Boxford in Essex County
in the State of Massachusetts on the 27" day of November
AD, 1893 Leaving a last will and Testament wherein and
Whereby your Petitioner was named as Sole Legatee
and Devisee of all and singular the Real and personal
property and Estate of Every Kind of which The decedent
died Seized and posesed of or to which she was Entitled at her
decease and your Petitioner Was also named Nominated and
appointed in and by the Said will as the sole Executor
thereof and Therefor and Petitioner would further
Show unto your Honor That the Said deceased left Real
and Personal Property situated in Alachua County
Florida to be Administered upon and That in her
said Will She Requested and directed That your Petitioner
should not be Required to file any Bond Nor to make
any appraisal or inventory of the Personal Estate That
at her decease she left as her Heirs at law your
Petitioner who  is her husband and Three Children viz
Benjamin S. Barnes Thomas L. Barnes and Samuel
L. Barnes all of whom are minors under the age of
Twenty one years Who Reside in Gainesville
Alachua County Florida with your Petitioner
and your Petitioner here makes Proport of The
Said last will and Testament of The said Sarah R.
Barnes and Prays that the same may be proved
and admited to Probate as Provided by law in
such Cases and That he may be appointed as Executor
of the said will in conformity to the Nomination
therein Contained and your Petitioner will Ever
pay &C                 Hampton & Ammons
