Last Will & Testament of Mary S. Watson
In the name of God Amen
I Mary S. Watson of the State of Florida & county of
Alachua Knowing that it is appointed unto man that
he must die & being now of a ripe old age, but
of sound mind and disposing memory, and being
desirous of disposing of my worldly effects before I
go home, do make publish and declare the following
to be my last will & testament viz
1st I commend my spirit to God who gave it and
my body to the earth.
2nd I devise after the payment of my physicians bill
and funeral expenses, that all of my property of every
character & description, shall go to and be the property
of my daughter Martha A.H. Watson & her children
share and share alike, I make this my will and desire
for the purpose of remunerating her for the great care
& attention she has given me in my helpless old age
3d I make constitute & appoint Dr. G.P. Thomas as
Executor of this my last will and testament
In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and
this 23d day of Aug. AD 1879
