John Haile
Haile, who died on the 21" day of October A.D. 1897
at Richmond, in the State of Virginia, That on the
24 day of June 1896, he was present and did see
the said annexed instrument in writing purporting
to be the last Will and Testament of the said John
Haile, duly executed by the said John Haile in the
presence of witness, A.L. Boulware and W.R. Massie
That the said John Haile at the time of executing the
said instrument of writing was to the best of depo-
nents Knowledge and belief of sound and disposing
mind, memory and understanding and that
witness and W.L. Boulware and W.R. Massie
in the presence of each other and of the said
John Haile and at his request signed their
names as witnesses to the due execution of
the same. That said A.L. Boulware has since
died J.E. McKenny

Charles U. Williams being first cautioned and
sworn to testify the truth, the whole truth and
nothing but the truth, doth depose and say
That he was present one of the subscribing
witnesses to the annexed instrument in writing
purporting to be the Last Will and Testament
of the late John Haile who died on the 21" day
of October A.D. 1897 at Richmond in the State
of Virginia That on the 10 day of November 1896
he was present and did see the said annexed
instrument in writing purporting to be a Codocil
to the Last Will and Testament of the said John
Haile duly executed by the said John Haile in
the presence of Witness, W.R. Massie and J.E. McKenny
That the said John Haile at the time of executing the said
instrument of writing, was, to the best of deponents
Knowledge and belief of sound and disposing mind
memory and understanding, And that witness and
J.E. McKenny and W.R. Massie in the presence
of each other, and of the said John Haile and
at his request, signed their names as witnesses |
