I bequeath One Thousand Dollars each to James
Chesnut, my friend and near neighbor, Amelia Dozier
and Enie Chesnut
I bequeath to Nellie Haile and Fannie Melton Haile
children of John Chesnut Haile, of Savannah, Ga. Five
Hundred dollars each, and to Mrs. E.H. Shannon of
Camden, S.C. five hundred Dollars. To Evans Haile
and Warnie Haile, the wife of Edward Haile, Five
hundred Dollars each.
I bequeath to my friend Charles U. Williams of
Richmond, Virginia, all of my wines and liquor
stored at the house of James S. Gibbs in Charleston
S.C. and I request my friend Henry Holmes to see
to their delivery
To my nephew James C. Haile, in addition to
the One Thousand Dollars bequeathed him above
I devise and bequeath my home and all
the personal property thereon with the exception of
my silverware which is bequeathed above to Eva
Haile, By my home place, I mean my lands
in Alachua County, Florida, embraced in frac-
tional Sections 22 & 27 in Township 9 Range 18
and sections 26 and 35, same Township and Range
or so much thereof as owned by me, amounting
in all to about One Thousand acres.
All the rest and residue of my Estate, both
Real and personal, whether in the States of Florida
South Carolina Virginia or elsewhere, I devise and
bequeath to the children of my brother C.E. Haile,
of Alachua County, Florida
I request my Executors hereinafter name, when
I die that any remains may be buried with those
of my wife and children, in Charleston S.C.
I appoint as my Executors of this my last
Will and Testament, my friends John Chesnut
and Screven Dozier of Florida and I request that
no inventory or appraisement of my estate be re-
quired by any Court in which my Will is admitted
to probate
