Last Will and Testament of Mary A.E. Goode
To the Hon J.C. Gardner Judge of the County Court
of Alachua County Florida.
The Petition of James P. Bauknight a citizen
of the County of Levy State of Florida, respectfully
shows to your Honor that Mrs. Mary A.E. Goode a citizen
of the County of Alachua, in said State died on the
7th day of September 1883, having real and personal
estate in said county of Alachua, and leaving also
a will dividing said estate, and appointing your
petitioner as Executor of said will. Your petitioner prays
that said will may be admitted to probate as required
by law, and that your petitioner may under
his nomination as Executor by said Will, receive
letters testamentary upon the estate mentioned in
said will and your Petitioner will ever pray & c

It having been made to appear to me upon the
oath of J. Porter Smith, to me well & personally
Known and a credible witness, and having no
interest under the will referred to in said petition
that the said will is the last Will and testament
of the said Mary A.E. Goode deceased; It is ordered
and adjudged that the said will be admitted
and is hereby admitted to probate, and is hereby
declared and published as the last will and tes-
tament of the said Mary A.E. Goode

Will
In the name of God, amen, I Mary A.E. Goode
being of sound mind and disposing memory and
desirous of making a bequest of all of my property
do make and publish this as my last will and
testament hereby revoking & annulling all other
wills testaments & codicils whatsoever
I give and bequeath to my brother James P.
Bauknight all that tract of land situated in the
County of Alachua in the State of Florida, and
known and described as lots number (9) Nine, ten |
