of the Clark Circuit Court, do hereby certify
that the above and foregoing codicil dated October
31 1893, to the last Will and Testament of John
F. Willey late of Clark County Indiana, deceased
was this day duly admitted to probate and record
and the proof thereof duly made by Winfield
S. Messer one of the subscribing witnesses thereto
which said Codocil to said Will together with
such proof have ben duly recorded in Will
record "J" page 377 in this Office

Before me William Goodwin
Clerk of the Clark Circuit Court, personally
came Ozello Messer, one of the subscribing wit-
nesses, to the foregoing Codocil, dated May 3 1895
to the last Will and Testament of John F.
Willey, late of Clark County, Indiana, deceased
and being duly sworn on her oath says that
she was present at the execution of said Codocil
to said last Will, that the same was duly ex
ecuted, that at the time of the execution thereof
said Testator was of full age to devise his
property, of sound mind and memory and not
under any coercion or restraint, That said Tes-
tator requested this affiant and George Messer
the other subscribing witness to sign said Codocil
as witnesses thereto, which they accordingly did
in his presence of said Testator and in the pres-
ence of each other as subscribing witnesses
thereto Ozello Messer
