Clerk of the Clark Circuit Court, do hereby
certify that the above and foregoing Codocil,
dated December 13 1897 to the last Will and
Testament of John F. Willey, late of Clark
County Indiana, deceased, was this day duly
admitted to probate and record, and the proof
thereof of duly made by Ozello Messer, one of
the subscribing witnesses thereto, which said
Codocil to said Will, together with the proof have
been duly recorded in Will Record "J" page 379
in this Office

Election of Widow
The undersigned widow of John F.
Willey, deceased, late of Clark County, Indiana
who died testate, and whose last Will and
Testament has been duly admitted to probate
and record in the Clark Circuit Court of said
County and State, hereby makes election as
such widow, to hold and retain her right to
one third of the lands of which her husband
died siezed as well as to hold and retain
her rights and interest as such widow under
the Statutes of decsent in and to the personal property estate
of her said husband, notwithstanding the terms
of said Will, and she refuses to accept any devise
or provision whatever made by said Will in her
favor or in Lieu of her Statutory right as well
in and to such real estate, or her statutory right
as aforesaid in and to the personal property of
said decedent Maria Willey
