On reading and filing the annexed affidavit
of Rev John Joseph Riordan,
Ordered, that the Letters Testamentary
heretofore issued herein be amended so that
wherever the name John Joseph Reardon occurs
therein, there be inserted immedeately thereafter
the words "Otherwise Known as John Joseph
Riordan. Daniel G. Rollins

Rev John Joseph Riordan being duly
sworn says that he is the executor named in the
Last Will and Testament of William W. Loring
deceased that in the month of June 1879 he re-
cieved from the said William W. Loring a paper
writing, stated by him to be his Last Will and
Testament which said instrument was by depo-
nent deposited in the Office of the Surrogate of
the County of New York: that on recieving said
instrument, deponent now informed by the said
W.W. Loring that he was appointed executor of
said Will, that he was at the time said instru-
ment was given Him the Assistant pastor of St.
Bernards Church and that he is the person des-
cribed in said Will as Rev John Joseph Reardon
and that the desires to have the Letters Testamentary
heretofore issued to him amended so that they
will read to John Joseph Reardon, otherwise
Known as John Joseph Riordan, for the reason
that objection is made on account of the error
so made, to pay money to him as such Executor
