Personally came before me, B.F. Jordan
to me well known, who being duly sworn, deposes and
says that he is the B.F. Jordan, whose name is signed
to the above and foregoing Last Will and Testament of
Martha S. Norton, deceased, Affiant further swears
that the signatures of W.C. Miller and Charles O. Hamp-
ton, the other witnesses who appear to have signed and
attested the said Will are genuine, That said W.C. Miller
and Charles O. Hampton signed the same as attesting
witnesses thereof at the same time and place and
in the presence of this affiant, And that the said
Martha S. Norton signed and sealed said Will in the
presence of this affiant and the said W.C. Miller and
Charles O. Hampton, and published and declared the
same to be her Last Will and Testament in the presence
of said Witnesses. Affiant further swears that the
said W.C. Miller and Charles O. Hampton are now dead

This cause coming on to be heard and the
will of Martha S. Norton having been presented by Anne E.
Shelton, the Executrix named therein, and the petition for
probate thereof having been verified by the affidavit of

W.W. Hampton a credible person, having no interest therein
said Will, and the same having been proved by the
affidavit of B.F. Jordan, one of the attesting witnesses thereto
and the Court being advised in the premises: thereupon,
upon consideration hereof, it is ordered, & adjudged that the
Will of Martha S. Norton, attached hereto be, and the same is
herein and hereby duly proved and admitted to probate
according to law, as the true Last will and Testament of
the said Martha S. Norton, deceased, and Annie E. Shelton
the Executrix therein named is herein and hereby appointed
as Executrix under and pursuant to the said Last Will
