Rufus Putnam
Know all men by these presents: That I Rufus
Putnam of Knapaha, County of Alachua, State of
Florida, being of sound mind and body do hereby
of my own free will and desire make this my last
Will and Testament.
All of my real and personal property that I am
now in possession of or may hereafter become possessed
of I bequeath to my wife Elsie Marie Putnam to be held
by her irrevocably and forever and to be disposed of in
any manner she may elect
Second
Should my wife Elsie Marie Putnam pass from
this life before my death, I demand that my estate
both real and personal that I possess now, or may pos-
sess after my death, shall be settled as follows
Third
That from my estate all debts, obligations and agree-
ments be settled by my executors, That after my de-
cease my body shall be laid in my burial lot in
the Cemetery Mt Leverett, Mass, That a suitable Monument
be placed in my burial lot in the Cemetery in Mt Leveratt
Mass, That the residue of my estate, real and personal
or mixed, of which I shall die siezed and possessed
or which I shall be entitled at my decease, I give
and devise and bequeath to Alexander Chalmers, his
heirs, Executors and Administrators
That I nominate Alexander Chalmers and
George Atwood, both of Boston, Mass, to be the Ex-
ecutors of this my last Will and Testament the
same to serve without bonds
In testimony I the said Rufus Putnam sub-
scribe my name and affix my seal this the twenty-
third day of January in the year of our Lord,
One Thousand eight hundred and nine nine

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said
Rufus Putnam as and for his Last Will and Testament in
in the presence of us who at his request and in his pres-
ence, and of each other have subscribed our names as
witnesses hereof Rufus Putnam
