eastern and South Carolina Railroad or Railway bonds
are now in my box in the Peoples National Bank of Charles-
ton S.C. and the said Chicago, St. Louis and New Orleans, and
Missippi and Tennessee Railroad bonds are now in the
Bank of New York in the City of New York. Should any of
said bonds be collected or be disposed of by me during
my life, then I give and bequeath to my said sons and
son in law so many other securities of like character with
the above, to be selected by them from my estate as shall
replace the bonds so collected or disposed to so as to make
up the total of Sixty Thousand Dollars at their face value.
I further give to my said sons and son in law Life Policy
No 203822 in the Equitable Life Insurance Company
for five Thousand Dollars which I direct them to collect and
invest the proceeds in any first class securities, as in their
discretion they shall select - And I hereby order and direct
that the proceeds of said Life Policy and all the securities &
bonds and all changes and reinvestments of the same or
any part thereof shall be held and Kept by the said James
S. Gibbs, George E. Gibbs and John Haile in trust to pay
and apply the income and interest of same solely to the
maintenance and support of my beloved wife, for and
during her natural life, and after her death, I Order and
direct that all of said proceeds, securities and bonds and all
changes and reinvestments of the same shall be by the
said James S. Gibbs George E. Gibbs and John Haile
or their successors in trust, transferred and delivered to the
Farmers Loan and Trust Company or its successors in the
trust, for the uses and purposes hereinafter set forth in sec-
tion twenty three - And I hereby Authorize and em-
power the said trustees to collect any and all the said bonds
and securities and all reinvestments thereof as may mature
during the life of my wife and to sell and dispose of
any and all the same when in the Judgement of said
trustees a sale thereof may become urgently necessary for
the preservation of the fund and the proceeds of all such
collections and sales shall be forthwith be reinvested in other
good securities as near as possible of the same class
as those collected or disposed of, and to continue such
sales, collections and reinvestments as often as may be
necessary Upon all of said Bonds and Securities and
all reinvestments of the same shall be endorsed the
words, "Property of James S. Gibbs, George E. Gibbs and"
