John Haile (or whosoever at the time may be
trustees) "not good without their endorsement"
  I commend my beloved wife to the tender and
affectionate care of my sons.
Section 6:  Should my beloved wife depart this
life before me, then it is my will that the property
mentioned in section fourth shall go and be held
as hereinafter directed in section thirteen, and the
property mentioned in section five shall go and be
held as hereinafter directed in section twenty three
as if section fourth and fifth had not been
written. The provisions herein made for my beloved
wife are hereby declared to be in lieu of any
claim for dower in any lands and premises I
may die possessed of.
Section 7:  I hereby order and direct my Ex-
excutors forthwith to transfer and deliver unto the
Farmers Loan and Trust Company of the City
of New York, Trustee, as hereinafter provided in sec-
tion twenty four, securities amounting at their face
value to the total sum of One hundred Thousand
Dollars, to have and to hold, Keep and possess the
same unto the said "The Farmers Loan and Trust
Company" and its successors in the trust forever.
In trust nevertheless and to for and upon the fol-
lowing uses, purposes and trust and none other, that
is to say in trust.
First:  To pay and apply the income, issues and
proffits thereof, to my son James S. Gibbs, for and du-
ring his natural life and from and after his
death to have and to hold all of the said securities
and all changes and reinvestments thereof in trust
to, for and among the child or children of my said
son James, their heirs, and assigns forever. Share and
share alike, the children of any deceased child taking 
the parents share.
Second,,  Should my son James, die without leaving
issue living at his death, or should my said son
die leaving issue and such issue die before attaining
the age of twenty one, and without issue living
at the time of death, there and in either of such
cases to pay and apply the income issues and
proffits of one half of such securities and all
